Leadership Team
With a responsibility to empower and motivate staff and instructors, the MESC leadership team formulates a cohesive unit that leads the educational initiatives of the college.
In 1985, the Manitoba Fire College began as a training facility for professional fire fighters with a minimal amount of medical training. Since then, the College has graduated thousands of individuals, increased the amount of paramedicine and firefighting course offerings, and undergone a name change. In 1994 the College was relabeled as the Manitoba Emergency Services College (MESC).
With a responsibility to empower and motivate staff and instructors, the MESC leadership team formulates a cohesive unit that leads the educational initiatives of the college.
The college is made up of many staffing units, including a diverse instructor network, student services, finance, and administration.
As Manitoba’s centre of excellence in fire fighting and paramedic training, the MESC strives to better equip the province with highly trained first responders, building capacity to keep Manitobans safe.
