Admissions Process
Course Registration
Outside of the PFPP program, there are a few ways to register for a course using our online, self-service option. Depending on the type of student you are (fire service or non-fire service), the process is outlined below:
Non-sponsored / Non-fire service (self-paying students):
Application form/Self-service
- Find a course you like
- Submit application for the course
- Will be notified if application approved and asked to self-enroll with payment
- Fees are waived for the Manitoba Fire Service (please see “Manitoba Fire Service” section)
Manitoba Fire Service
- For courses requested and run through a Mutual Aid District: The MAD Training Coordinator will handle all course registrations through the Training Coordinator Portal
- For the MESC scheduled courses: Enrollments should still be processed through the MAD Training Coordinator. This allows for the tuition-waiver to occur (no charge), confirmation of sponsorship by the respective Fire Chief, ease of enrollment/quicker process, and better tracking and records for the MAD. Keeping enrollments through the Training Coordinator portal will also aid report generation during incentive time to ensure each district has an accurate training record.
Ensure you include all prerequisite information or you will be waitlisted. Please see course information for required prerequisites.
