As a post-secondary institution focused primarily on training emergency services personnel, MESC and its instructional staff stand out as recognized industry leaders, both within the Province of Manitoba, and across Canada.
With course accreditation to the current National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards from the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) and the National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications (ProBoard) on the fire side, and to the National Occupational Competency Profile (NOCP) competencies and the Accreditation Canada’s Education Quality Program (EQual) on the paramedicine side, the training MESC provides to its students results in certification in a wide variety of accredited content.
