Public Fire Paramedic Program

Unique to Manitoba, the program trains in Fire Fighting, Rescue, Primary Care Paramedicine, and Community Education, Safety, and Mental Wellness programming. PFPP graduates are ready to enter career departments.

courses

MESC holds accreditation in fire, rescue, and paramedicine courses through IFSAC, ProBoard, and EQual. This ensures that the courses meet the NFPA standard and are recognized globally.

MESC offers non-accredited courses that meet the NFPA standards. These modified courses are designed to meet the specific needs of the Manitoba Fire Service. Instructors travel across the province to deliver the training in-house, making it accessible and convenient for firefighters.
